Three community gardens in Carteret County are signing up gardeners, join one today and prepare for next vegetable season:

 - Grace Presbyterian Church, Rt 70, Beaufort is ready for more gardeners, $10 for a nice sized plot of tilled soil and access to hose, call 728-7057.

- All Saints Anglican Church in Newport offers large plots with access to watering hoses, call 240-1889.
